Wow, a perfect day! We had about 110 folks participate on a sunny 68-degree day in a beautiful setting—a great day to be orienteering! This is only the second time we have orienteered in this beautiful venue, and both times have been just gorgeous.
Just to make sure we all remember: the map was originally drafted two years ago by Emily Radtke for her Girl Scout Silver Award project. We are still grateful to her—we are only using the park for orienteering because of her work. Thanks Emily!

They are interesting to analyze. The courses were clearly quite fast! Generally in Orienteering, 10 minutes per kilometer is considered a very respectable pace. Here are the folks who were faster than that (first course only):

The winner on White was Alison Weber—and she did it in 10.4 minutes per km. It looks like BAOC has another speedy up-and-coming Junior!!! And Alison garnered a ton of points for the COOL season.
Some folks took on second courses, and some even did three courses: Greg Mandler progressed really rapidly from White to Yellow to Brown! Wow, that's some fast improvement! And Greg Favor did Blue, Green and _Long Brown_—he's tough! If your name is Greg, do you have to do three courses?
